Kids 2025 Fall Semester

This Fall, our kids will be reading through the Gospel of Mark together. Here’s what parents need to know about how we’ll be studying and participating each week:

  • We recommend reading from the New Living Translation (NLT) with your children
  • Certain passages in Mark will be skipped because they may not be age-appropriate
  • Each week, kids should pick one of the planned chapters/sections to read and write down one question of their own from what they read
  • The question and answer should both be clear and be found in the chapter/section we are reading for the week
  • Kids will have an opportunity to share their questions for points each week
  • Take a look at the sample question below

Aug 27 – Week 1 – Semester Overview

Sept 3 – Week 2 – Mark 1:1-19 or Mark 2:1-17

Sept 10 – Week 3 – Mark 3:13-19 or 4:30-41

Sept 17 – Week 4 – Mark 5:21-43 or Mark 6:30-56

Sept 24th – Week 5 – Mark 7:1-19 or Mark 8:1-21

Oct 1 – Week 6 – Mark 9:30-50 or Mark 10:13-52

Oct 8 – Week 7 – Mark 11:1-19 or Mark 12:28-43

Oct 15 – Week 8 – Mark 13:21-37

Oct 22 – Week 9 – Mark 14:1-42

Nov 5 – Mark 15:21-39 or Mark 16:1-8

Nov 12 – Week 11 – Semester Review (any question from any section covered)

Nov 19 – Week 12 – PARTY
