The Word of God
The Bible is the inspired Word of God, written through men as the Holy Spirit guided them. It is unbiblical for anyone to add or take away from these scriptures. The New Testament is our primary guide in matters pertaining to conduct and doctrine. The Trinity
God is one but exists in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit being co-equal. (I John 5:7) For more info, listen to this sermon series: I Am
Man – His Fall & Redemption
Man is created in the likeness and image of God and was given dominion to rule and reign over this earth in Adam. Through Adam’s transgression and rebellion against God, we lost our former place of authority. “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one” (Romans 3:10). Jesus Christ shed His blood to redeem and restore man back to God (I John 3:8). Salvation is the gift of God to man, given by grace and not earned by works, and received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, producing fruits consistent with repentance. Eternal Life & Salvation
True Godly sorrow and repentance must accompany salvation. The new birth is necessary for all men and is produced when a person repents and turns from their sin, believes in their heart, and confesses with their mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior (Romans 10:9-10, John 3:3-5, II Corinthians 7:10, I John 5:12). Water Baptism
Baptism in water by immersion is a commandment of our Lord and is for believers only. It is a symbol of the Christian’s identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection. (Matthew 28:19, Acts 8:36-39, Romans 6:4, Colossians 2:12) For more info, listen to this sermon series: The Sacraments
Baptism in the Holy Spirit
Baptism in the Holy Spirit is a gift from God as promised by the Lord Jesus Christ to all believers. This experience is accompanied by the evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Holy Spirit gives utterance. We do not believe that speaking in tongues is a requirement for salvation but it is a gift for those who believe. (Matthew 3:11, John 14:16-17, Acts 1:8; 2:4; 2:38-39; 19:1-7) For more info, listen to this sermon series: Fruit of the Spirit
Hell
Hell is a physical place that was created for the devil and his demons. However, this became man’s eternal destination when he rebelled against God in the garden. Those who reject the offer of salvation from our Lord will live eternally in this place of eternal damnation. (Hebrews 9:27, Revelation 19:20) For more info, listen to this sermon series: The Second Coming
Marriage
Biblical marriage is a covenant between one man and one woman. We do not believe the Bible condones any other arrangement that violates this definition such as unmarried couples living together, homosexuality, bestiality, polygamy, etc. (Matt. 19:3-8; Leviticus 18:19-23; Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-27; 1 Cor 6:9-10) For more info, listen to this sermon series: Family Matters 2
